Comparethefare.ie is Ireland’s first and only search engine for direct flights across Europe. Just enter your departure and arrival airport and your dates of desire and comparethefare.ie will give you the cheapest offer available from Aer Lingus and Ryanair. Comparethefare.ie has been launched in June 2014 and founded by the Travel Department which was established in 1996.

Do I have to pay for using comparethefare.ie?

No, comparethefare.ie is free to use. No fees will be charged for using this flight search engine.

How does comparethefare.ie work?

Comparethefare.ie is directly licensed by both Aer Lingus and Ryanair to retrieve the latest air fares from their respective websites. Your flight booking is made directly with the respective airlines with no additional fees from comparethefare.ie.

When should I book my flight?

In general, flight prices and flight availability changes rapidly depending on demand of the route. The best approach is to check comparethefare.ie regularly and once you found your flight at your desired price, do not hesitate and book it.

I found a cheap flight but when I went to the airline’s website, the offer was not valid anymore. How is this possible?

We try our best and put the maximum effort to keep all the data as accurate as possible. Unfortunately, we operate in a very dynamic and rapidly changing market. Therefore, an offer may not be available anymore. The best strategy to guarantee the price is to book as soon as possible to avoid any price increases.

I want to change/cancel my booking.

Please contact directly the airlines. Here are the links for both airlines: Aer Lingus and Ryanair.
